Present were Woody Stocks (NGC), Brenda Coverdale (HOB), Jim Coverdale (NGC), Peggy Kirby (CHHS), Ed Murauskas (President), Walt Goering (Vice President), Mary Beth D’Amico (Treasurer), Diane Parseghian (MMS), Susan Krause (BMS), Kathleen Law (RES), Donna Hartnett (RSE).
� Welcome and Introductions � Ed Murauskas
� Approval of Minutes of 10/29/08 Meeting � Peggy moved to approve; Brenda seconded. Voice vote unanimous. Minutes approved.
� ESP Dinner � Ed Murauskas � November 19 � We went to Jake’s and had a fabulous turnout. 89 people attended; of those 6 were guests. We made $173 on basket raffles & 50/50. Woody moved to put that money into the General fund. Peggy seconded � voice vote unanimous. Mary Beth will also check with DSEA to see if investing about half of our checking account would negatively impact our tax situation and whether a financial advisor could help us use our money to generate more money.
� Membership � Walt Goering � Please send Walt any roster changes (staff assignments, address, phone number updates, etc.) ASAP. He must have final info to DSEA by 1/22/09. Ed will contact bus driver Gertrude Springer to see if she will represent them.
� WAR � Winter Advocacy Retreat - Mary Beth D'Amico copied forms she had received via snail mail from DSEA. Most other building reps had received the same information. Please post this info in buildings. Members are encouraged to attend; CHSSA will pay tuition. Interested members should sign up online as directed on the forms, then let Mary Beth (or their building rep) know so she can write the checks to DSEA.
� Secretary Job Classification update � Mary Beth D’Amico and Peggy Kirby � Despite the inability to secure a job classification evaluator, members of CHSSA leadership and negotiations teams finally reached an agreement with district administration. Details of the agreement will be released to Executive Committee members and Negotiations Committee members next Thursday, January 22 just before the CHSD Board Meeting. With an approval from this group, district administration will approach the School Board for approval that night. Once the Board approves and signs the agreement, details can be released to membership.
� Custodial Liaison Committee � Walt Goering � At this time Walt is still chair; Jim Coverdale will “apprentice” Walt. They will continue to pursue unresolved issues and take future issues to the district administration.
� Election Committee � Ed Murauskas � This is an election year for CHSSA officers. A committee (made up of NON-officers) is needed to select a new slate of officer candidates and conduct the election before our May 13 meeting. Woody, Kathy and Susan will co-chair this committee. Ed and Walt will run again; Mary Beth is undecided. The committee will bring nominations list to April 8 EC meeting.

� Negotiations Committee � Committee formation in process.
