Morris, Susan Krause, Kathy Law, and Molly Siple.
Building
Reps
- Ed welcomed and thanked Jeannie Morris for volunteering for Shields Building
rep. Welcome Jeannie. We still need a rep at both Beacon and
Mariner Middle School. Ed reminded all
building reps that their regular attendance at the Executive Board meetings is
to be taken seriously. If you are not
going to attend then do no volunteer to be a rep. If you are going to be out sick for any
extended period of time, (more than 2 weeks), it is your responsibility to
notify Ed and try to find coverage. If
you are unable to find coverage, one of the existing board members will fill in
temporarily. Present building reps are:
CHHS-Tim Eitner, Custodians, Roger Boyd for SEC at high school, Rehoboth
Elementary-Janet Graviet and Kathy Law, Shields Elementary-Jeannie Morris,
MES-Diane Huff, HOB-Joan Williamson (temporary for B. Coverdale), and SEC-Molly Siple.
Treasurers
Report-Mary
Beth explained that because we did not have a general membership meeting in
August at the school years opening that the proposed budget will need to be
distributed within each building to each member for approval. Please circulate copies and have members
initial if they approve the budget, if they have questions, please let Mary
Beth know. All responses must be sent to
Mary Beth no later than 9/28.
At present the CHSSA has $6,237.62 in
the bank.
New
CHSSA Polo Shirts-Mary
Beth would like to have the “fit” line, i.e. examples of each size and color of
the shirts sent around to each building so that building reps and members can
choose whether or not to purchase a shirt.
Present members will be able to purchase the shirts at a $10.00 discount
off of total price, new members will receive their shirts free. There are both long and short sleeve shirts
in both male and female cuts as well as a variety of colors. Each building rep will be asked to hold the
shirts for no longer than one week, and to be responsible for personally
transferring to the next building rep.
The rotation will be as follows: RES, Shields, SEC, CHHS, HOB, MES, MMS,
and BMS. Mary Beth will investigate if
she can make several small orders.
