Spring Membership Meeting!

Our CHSSA Annual 

Spring Membership Meeting 

is tentatively scheduled for May 10 

at the High School at 5 p.m.  

Please save the date!

Help us help others!

CHEA and CHSSA are partnering to prepare a lunch for our district’s homeless families on April 4.  It will be held at the high school from 11 - 2.  Members who would like to help may do so in the following ways:

1. Show up and help - serving, cleaning up, etc.
2. Prepare a crockpot of chili, a tray of cornbread, or a dessert to serve.
3. Provide disposable utensils, plates, napkins, etc.

DSEA’s Annual ESP Professional Learning Conference

RETHINK POVERTY

On April 14th, DSEA will be holding the "Community Action Poverty Simulation" at the Delaware State Troopers Hall in Cheswold (9:45-1:00). The simulation takes participants through the experience of living one month in poverty. The interactive event promotes poverty awareness, increases understanding, and inspires local change. It moves people to think about the harsh realities of poverty and to engage in meaningful talk about how communities can address the problem.

Rescheduled Executive Meeting

Due to snow, our last Executive Meeting was canceled. It has been rescheduled for Monday, February 5th at 5pm. We will meet at the Green Turtle in Lewes.
